Who We Are

We are a young locally constituted group to address salient health and education issues that confront the Black and Minority Ethnic communities in Chelmsford and environment. We were founded in 2009 and are temporarily operating in the Springfield area of Chelmsford.

Our Aim & Our Objective

We aim to support members of the BME communities in Chelmsford and the surrounding area, especially women with children, in the area of health, education and related matters. We intend to do this by: 

  • Organizing healthy living initiatives (Diet, exercise, health talks, etc)
  • Encouraging stronger community spirit through heritage issues like food, language & culture
  • Supporting the successful integration of BMEs
  • Organizing innovative and inclusive programs for children, young people, and their families
  • Holding befriending schemes
  • Improving life choices through education, arts & crafts, etc
  • Organizing healthy living initiatives;
  • Encouraging stronger community spirit through cultural heritage issues like food, art, language & befriending schemes
  • Improving life choices through education.

Our Mission
“Health is wealth”. In achieving our objectives, we will be organizing talks and events at different times which relate to health and education issues.
